8th-11th. Gusty winds into the Northern Plains.
12th-15th. Fair initially, then very unsettled.
16th-19th. Clearing across the Northern Plains.
20th-23rd. Very unsettled over the Northern Plains east.
24th-27th. Pleasant.
28th-31st. Fair, turning colder in Rocky Mountains. Stormy for Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri.

November 2011
1st-3rd. Chilly across the Northern Plains.
4th-7th. Unsettled.
8th-11th. Fair at first, then stormy, with some snow possible.
12th-15th. Unsettled east into the Northern Plains.
16th-19th. Mostly fair, becoming overcast, blustery.
20th-23rd. Fair skies.
24th-27th. Very unsettled, with squally weather for the Northern Rockies and Northern Plains east, then slowly clearing.
28th-30th. Turning very cold.

December 2011
1st-3rd. Showery and unsettled.
4th-7th. Pleasant.
8th-11th. Big storm from the Southwest: north of the storm track, heavy snow, with 4 to 12 inches possible; south of the storm track, heavy showery rains and perhaps thunderstorms.
12th-15th. Cold temperatures. Fair, then turning unsettled.
16th-19th. Clouds gradually give way to clearing.
20th-23rd. Stormy, with heavy snow.
24th-27th. Fair and colder.
28th-31st. Scattered snow showers.

January 2012
1st-3rd. Milder, then light snows from Central Rockies into Nebraska, Kansas.
4th-7th. Mostly fair.
8th-11th. Heavy snow (8-12″) from Rockies through Northern and Central Plains.
12th-15th. Mostly fair, but bitterly cold.
16th-19th. Light snows.
20th-23rd. Stormy: blizzard-like conditions spread east across Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri.
24th-27th. Mixed sun and clouds, accompanied by very cold winds.
28th-31st. Fair, then wet.

February 2012
1st-3rd. Fair
4th-7th. Potent Pacific disturbance pushes heavy snow (12+”) across Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri. Light snow or scattered flurries farther north.
